Middle East Courier Services was founded and established by Eng. Ramez Fahmy Ghaly in 1976, a man of vision and broad experience in multiple business fields. He was especially gifted with an ability to foresee where Egypt’s economy was heading and what services would be needed to support the economy’s growth.
Eng. Fahmy, in the spirit of pioneering entrepreneurship went ahead establishing the first privately owned courier company in Egypt; Middle East Courier Services, that was created as an express mailing service company serving the public with quick delivery of time sensitive material from any source location to any destination.

MECS also has On Board Couriers (OBC) on a daily basis, on Egypt Air domestic flights to Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada & Sharm El Sheikh.
